A brawl between a group of supporters from Colombia and one in Costa Rica apparently ended with 20 people arrested in different police stations in the capital of Jujuy.
The incident was raised in the area of the bus terminal in San Salvador and surprising the peoples in there. The head of the second branch, Commissioner Eduardo BolĂvar, bring the unit to transfer 12 people of Colombian nationality, including a woman, "for background checks." Another group, also foreigners, was arrested in the fourth branch in the neighborhood Cuyaya for the same cause.
The incident occurred at a game day Colombia-Costa Rica in the sub-site Jujuy and according to some witnesses the incident could have been worse as some carrying knives, which was not confirmed by police. According to one version, the incident would have started in an area of Dorrego Street and after a provocation became insults and aggressions. Also thrown projectiles, one of which hit a window in the bus terminal. No one was injured by the intervention of troops patrol car and the body of Infantry, who were able to control those involved and move to the fourth and second sectional, neighborhoods and Gorriti Cuyaya respectively. The fourth station, for reasons of jurisdiction, is in charge of the proceedings and acts in office.
